Code 95 is a certificate required for professional drivers to engage in transportation. It is a document that confirms the driver possesses the necessary vocational skills. Code 95 is particularly mandatory for those working in international transportation companies. The course covers both theoretical and practical training, and drivers who successfully complete this course in Lithuania are eligible to take an official exam to obtain the Code 95 certificate.
Code 95 is a qualification document required for professional truck and bus drivers in the European Union. This directive applies to all professional truck and bus drivers who wish to work within the EU. The Code 95 certificate confirms that it meets the necessary requirements for drivers holding licenses in categories D1, D1+E, D, D+E1, C1, C1+E, C, or C+E. Code 95 is additional information added to licenses issued in EU member countries, and drivers from outside the EU must prove this qualification to be able to work in the EU. For example, drivers from non-EU countries such as Turkey must obtain this certificate in a country like Lithuania if they wish to work in the EU.
This requirement aligns with the current regulations related to professional transportation in EU countries, mandating that anyone wishing to work as a truck or bus driver on EU territory must obtain this qualification code. This applies to both local and foreign drivers seeking to work in the transportation sector in EU countries.
To obtain the Code 95 certificate, candidates must undergo specific training for a designated period. This training typically lasts for about a month and includes both theoretical and practical lessons. Upon completion of the training process, candidates (Long-Term Course) are subjected to an exam organized by the Lithuanian state institution WORD. Those who pass the exam successfully can receive the Code 95 certificate within 7-14 days. Additionally, there is a requirement for the candidate to have received training based on the date of obtaining their driver’s license for the issuance of the Code 95 certificate.

Code 95 takes the form of a record as “95.GG.AA.YYYY.” The number “95” at the beginning is the official designation of a professional driver’s license, confirming the holder’s qualifications. The following digits represent the expiration date of the most recently completed periodic training or qualification course. Upon the expiration of this date, the document holder loses the right to practice their profession unless they have completed the next periodic training and received the necessary medical and psychological assessments.
Classrooms are equipped with everything necessary for effective learning. In just under 6 years of operation, we have trained over 1,500 drivers and they have recommended us to their friends and acquaintances.
